The AutoviaTest record ranks countries based on the strictness of their general Class B driving theory exam passing thresholds.
Greece ranked 1st with a 97% passing threshold (allowing only 1 mistake on a 30-question exam).
The United States ranks 24th, with an 88% pass mark.
Unlike countries with a national standard, the U.S. has no federal pass mark for driving theory exams. Each state sets its own requirements, and most are considerably lower than Maryland’s.
