Claude users processed more computer and math tasks, which accounted for 36% of their queries. This progression also extended to other areas of use.

Educational uses increased from 9% last year (as reported in the V1 report) to 12%, indicating that more schools, teachers, and students are now relying on Claude for academic tasks.
Science-related queries also increased slightly, from 6% to 7%, indicating they were a popular choice for research.
However, queries related to business and management dropped from about 5% and 6%, respectively, in V1 to only 3% each in V3.
People are increasingly using Claude for educational, scientific, and technical purposes as its features continue to improve.

So far, its users rely on the AI tool for computer and math-related problems. However, more people are now using it for education and science, while fewer are using it for business and management.
